Within the framework of the "Student Summer - 2026" program, at the initiative of the Kajaran Municipality, students from Kajaran made a study visit to the mine of the Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to visit their parents' workplace, learn about the specifics of the mining industry on site, see the work being done, and gain an understanding of the major processes that ensure the plant's every-day operations. They also got acquainted with the process of technical re-equipment and development of production infrastructure at ZCMC CJSC, and saw how modern technologies and innovative solutions are being introduced into production processes.
Such visits are not only an educational but also an important professional experience for young people: they provide an opportunity to truly discover the work of one of Armenia's largest employers, gain an understanding of the development of the mining sector, and see opportunities for professional advancement that can connect them more strongly with their native community in the future.
