KAJARAN, AUGUST 23 – SYUNIK TV։ On August 22, the Kajaran Day was celebrated.
The 68th anniversary of Kajaran's founding was celebrated with numerous guests, abundant tables, various events, and a festive mood. The hosts and guests were first greeted by students from the Kajaran Francophone Center.
Before the start of the festivities, flowers were laid at the tombstones of the heroes of Kajaran who fell in all the wars in Artsakh. This tradition is indestructible.
The greatest gift to the residents of Kajaran on that day was the reopening of the city's No. 1 nursery-kindergarten, for which ZCMC invested AMD 112,000,000. A new, modern educational institution for the children of Kajaran was built on the site of the former building.
"I congratulate all city residents on Kajaran Day," said Roman Khudoliy, Director General of ZCMC CJSC. "I'm confident that by working together, we will achieve great success for the benefit of Kajaran. We are also going to begin construction of a second kindergarten at the end of the year."
Hugs and congratulations… The city is 68 years old, but Armenians have been living and creating here for millennia, emphasize the residents of Kajaran.
One of the traditions of celebrating City Day is a ceremonial meeting, at the beginning of which those present were blessed by His Holiness Bishop Makar Hakobyan, Head of the Syunik Diocese. At the end of the session, Kajaran Mayor Manvel Paramazyan awarded those who have made significant contributions to the development of the city.
The surprises of the festival continued until late at night, ending with a grand concert and magnificent fireworks.
