The professions of the future are taking shape today, and the opportunities for them are being emerge in the labor market.
“Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine” CJSC supported the "Banugorts: YSU Expo-2026" event organized by YSU, emphasizing the importance of strong ties between education and employers; the development of this science-and technology-driven sector requires highly qualified and adaptable specialists, and close cooperation between universities and employers is pivotal to their training. The joint initiatives of ZCMC and YSU—such as student internships, the "Young Geologist" summer school, and other educational programs—are aimed at fostering this cooperation.
As part of the expo, Vardan Jhanyan, First Deputy General Director of ZCMC, toured the pavilions, familiarized himself with the students' projects, and participated in a panel discussion. During a meeting with students, he emphasized that the modern mining industry is a sector driven by technology, knowledge, and high-level professional skills, creating numerous opportunities for professional growth for young people.
From education to profession, and from profession to real work: ZCMC will continue to support the professional development of young people and the expansion of opportunities for them to enter the labor market.
