On October 16-17, the most reputable event in the Armenian mining industry, “Mining Armenia Forum 2026,” was held in Tsaghkadzor.

This year, Mining Armenia Forum 2026 brought together about five dozen speakers from the mining and related sectors, including representatives of international mining companies and financial institutions, investors, policymakers, sustainability experts, technology providers, academia, civil society representatives, etc.
They touched upon Armenia's mineral and geological potential, investment appeal and sustainability indicators, regulatory predictability, environmental protection and public expectations, regional and international supply chains of mineral raw material, and other key issues.
The forum serves as an important platform not only for professional discussions, but also for building and strengthening international connections and sharing expertise, providing real opportunities for new partnerships.
This year, the forum was also prominent for its innovative approach: an "expert" created by artificial intelligence followed the forum, analyzed and summarized the discussions, coordinating key issues and solutions proposed.
The application of such technology innovations was effective in the context of maintaining new professional knowledge, analyzing information, and coordinating complex discussions during the forum.
On the first day of the forum, a panel discussion was held on the topic "Armenia at the Crossroads of Resources, Stability, and Opportunities," in which Roman Khudoly, Director General of ZCMC CJSC, participated. Also, speeches and panel presentations were delivered by the First Deputy General Director of ZCMC CJSC, President of the Mining and Metallurgy Association of Armenia Vardan Jhanyan, Member of the Board of Directors of ZCMC CJSC, Deputy Director General Artyom Petrosyan, Deputy General Director of ZCMC CJSC, Director for Sustainable Development Armen Stepanyan, Deputy General Director of ZCMC CJSC for Digitalization Sadyk Azimov, Technical Director of ZCMC CJSC Arman Vardanyan, Director for External Relations and Sectoral Integration of ZCMC CJSC Anna Saghabalyan.
Let us remind you that the forum has been held for three years. The organizers are the Mining Forum Foundation and the Mining and Metallurgy Association of Armenia.
