The implementation of social programs in the communities of Kapan and Kajaran is a major mission of the "Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine" CJSC. For the past three years, this mission has been undertaken by the ZCMC Charitable Foundation.
The ZCMC has been supporting the charitable non-governmental organization "Haven of Hope and Faith" for about ten years with high responsibility and special attention. Since 2017, ZCMC CJSC has been annually allocating 4 million drams to this NGO to improve the health of children, including a psychologist’s services.
As a result of ZCMC's financial support, more than 40 children with special needs under care of the "Haven of Hope and Faith" are provided with free physiotherapy services. The necessary sports equipment and employees' salaries are also paid from the financial resources allocated by the ZCMC.
The joint efforts of the ZCMC and the "Haven of Hope and Faith" over the years have yielded encouraging results, developing the abilities of children with special needs and improving their quality of life as much as possible, as parents testify.
