The mining industry continues to be a key link in ensuring Armenia's energy stability, while, at the same time, promoting the country's economic development, technology advancement, and energy independence.
"Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine" CJSC participated in the conference titled "Strong Armenia 2025: The Key to Armenia's Energy Security."
The conference emphasized the trend of continuous growth in global demand for metals, which is mainly due to the dynamic development of renewable energy and green technologies.
Vardan Jhanyan, First Deputy Director General of ZCMC CJSC, and Armen Stepanyan, Director for Sustainable Development of ZCMC CJSC, presented the Company's programs implemented in the sector and strategic steps for energy transformation, which are aimed at increasing the efficiency of the mining industry, meeting the international requirements of sustainable development policy, and strengthening Armenia's energy stability. Leading financial, commercial, and consulting organizations also participated in the conference.
